I'm the Playwright in Residence for Waco Civic Tours, formerly known as Heart of Texas Children's Theatre. They're a professional repertory company serving Central Texas Schools, and one of the highlights of each year is getting to write shows that go on to tour public schools and share what for many students is their first time engaging with theatre at all.

Winnie the Pooh stumbles upon a set of paw marks that might belong to the most vicious of the Hundred Acre Woods’ creatures... a woozle. The woozle hunt, which is joined by the rest of Pooh’s friends, is derailed however, by an even more important discovery: it’s Eeyore’s birthday today! Eeyore’s friends begin scrambling to prepare a party, and Pooh requests Owl’s help to procure the best gift of all. Honey, of course.This is a paragraph about your business. What Tiggers Do Best

Christopher Robin has declared it a day for nothing, but there are a whole lot of somethings popping
up. Eeyore’s house is allegedly destroyed by a Heffalump, and so Rabbit leads the charge to build a
trap to catch it, so as to keep the Hundred Acre Wood safe. Meanwhile, a new stripey friend is
bouncing through the forest, and he can’t wait to meet everyone.

A North Pole Expotition

Christopher Robin is going on an expedition to find the North Pole. And what is the North Pole, you ask? Well, no one knows, but that won’t stop them from finding it. Finding North Poles is what Tiggers do best, Piglet has been practicing her scurrying, Owl is good with maps, Pooh brought honey as an expotition snack, and Eeyore is... there too. These friends are unstoppable. How could their adventure be anything but a success?

The Girl in Brown Who Walks Alone
The Amelia Earhart Story
Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan realize they are lost over the Pacific Ocean with no land in sight and come to grips with what it means to be remembered. As they content themselves to live out their final hours in the cockpit, we are transported throughout the life of Amelia Earhart, catching glimpses of her childhood, her accomplishments, her marriage, and even her friendship with the First Lady. Throughout it all, we see her for who she was: a woman chasing her dreams as the fullest version of herself. A
terrifyingly brave accomplishment even now, let alone in the early 20th century.
